#Philips webcam sic4700 64 Bit#
Unfortunately ( or maybe I should say Fortunately ) there is absolutely no 64 bit driver support for this cam in M$ but I at least have it working in Linux Mint 8 圆4 ( Linux is AWESOME! ~had to say it~), just the reason I need to use Mint some more To be honest, I've also seen the ICatch referenced to as two other cams I don't remember the name of at the moment. I believe they are one in the same because this camera was distributed by many computer manufacturers as an accessory.

Webcam= Philips sic4700/37 ( indicated on camera) or ICatch (VI) PC Camera ( name of camera Windows Vista identifies it as and installed drivers for) Messenger= aMSN ( I don't think the app is the problem because the cam is also dark in cheese, although cheese is a tad better but not by much) No matter what I did there was always something not working for me to get my cam adjusted. I found some work arounds but everything I tried was to no avail. I can adjust the cam settings in aMSN but it doesn't help much. The program of choice is aMSN because my friend also has MSN Messenger which we have used in the past before I migrated to 64 bit. The cam is working, it just comes in way too dark. Linux is AWESOME! Anyway, I've relentlessly been at this cam to try and use it because I video chat with a friend half way across the country but have been unsuccessful the last couple month till now. Come to find out I'm finally able to get my web cam working in Linux Mint. I have a webcam rendered useless due to migrating to 64 bit Windows but have a dual boot with Linux Mint 8. It contains an integrated confirmation button for simple control of PC functions and can also be used to control playback volume.Hi, I'm new here and to Linux Mint. The trackball uses a laser sensor that allows precise cursor movements. Less frequently needed function buttons are clearly arranged above and below. The buttons needed for the actual dictation functions take up the greatest amount of space in the central area of the device. The dictation zone is optimized to keep thumb movement to a minimum and allows for blind operation. Comfortable ergonomic design for one-thumb operation Designed with three ergonomic zones, it has been tested and proven by users to have the most comfortable fit in the human hand. While traveling or at home, simply attach the AirBridge to your laptop and continue working. Voice data is encrypted and securely transferred from up to 33 feet away.
The AirPort docking station provides convenient charging of the dictation microphone, while the AirBridge serves as the PC connection. The AirBridge and AirPort form the interface between SpeechMike Air and the PC.
Wireless dictation microphone for unparalleled cordless user-experience On top of the unparalleled wireless user experience, the SpeechMike Air features high connection reliability, low power consumption, and an expedient data transfer rate.
